The OEM vehicle profiles are pre configured to pull a torque value from the vehicle canbus where possible. Any known data such as brake pedal, tps, rpm, will also be pre configured where it is availble. However all data must be varified by the installer. We have seen many cases with aftermarket ECU tunes manipulating torque on the vehicle canbus, this may cause problems and must be accouted for. The TCU wants to know and accurate torque at crank value. 

Where possible the TCU will also send data to the chassis for items such as gear display, reverse lights etc. However this is regarded as a beta feature for most profiles and can be dependant on firmware versions on the vehicle. We do not have a list of compatbility currently, but something worse testing during install in to any OEM canbus profile vehicle.

Map sensor data is not required by the TCU if the engine ECU is broadcasting a torque value.

Most aftermarket ECUs will not have the ability to be configured with a custom can profile to send the torque. Which means most aftermarket ECU setups will be using the internal torque calculation in the Turbo Lamik. This means the TCU needs to recieve accurate RPM and MAP data for its torque calculation.
