This is the kit designed to make fitting a 8hp7x transmission to a N54 easier than ever before.
This brings all of the amazing features of the TurboLamik TCU including full 8hp control, transbrake, drift mode etc to the N54 e8x or e9x platform with a high level of factory intergration. The kit comes with a 6hp adapter harness which connects the TCU in to the factory 6hp wiring, this allows full canbus intergration with gear display on the factory cluster (including 8th gear if you have an updated kombi), as well as torque reduction requests to the MSD8x dme.

-TurboLamik TCU 2.0
-Program Mode Shift Knob
-Mechatronics PCB Board
-N54 to N57 8HP70 Adapter Plate Including Mounting Hardware
-6hp to TurboLamik Wiring Harness
You will need to source your own gear shift selector. We recomend using the e84 X1 8hp shifter, as it is a direct bolt in to the e8x or e9x floor pan (will require custom trim piece). You will need to source the N57 8hp70 transmission, the N57 converter will require 2.5mm spacers be welded on to the converter to correct the converter spacing to the N54 flywheel. A e90 330d transmission bracket, with that bracket this 8hp70 will then sit correctly on the original 6hp crossmember, as well as line up with the original tail shaft. Lastly some sort of transmission cooler adapter for the 8hp70. We do keep the Domiworks adpater in stock here - 8hp70 Oil Cooler Adapter
While this kit can be used for manual cars, some custom wiring will be required as well as sourcing an original auto driveshaft that suits your diff. Early n54 autos used the large pumpkin diff (same as manuals), where the later autos have a smaller diff and different length tail shaft.
