A simplified solution to instaling a Turbo Lamik TCU in to a BMW G Seires factory RWD 8hp car to allow full standalone control of a 8hp45?8hp50/8hp70/8hp75 transmissions or retro fitting a larger one.
This harness connects directly in the engine bay where the original 8hp connects. It links the TCU to both PT Can 1 and 2. Battery 12v. Ignition/wakeup signal. It then connects to the TurboLamik TCU to the transmission.
This harness also has provisions for the program mode swich and Turbo Lamik display.
This allows the TurboLamik to see the BMW canbus's for engine data, shifter data and paddles.
Although the TCU emulates most of the original 8hp messages, some custom coding may be required on the car. TurboLamik does not currently support G Series transfer cases.
